In Memory

Thirty-two years ago today, my family changed. Our family changed. We experienced a huge loss in a horrible way.
Sometimes we're still not recovered from it.
Arlan was born 42 years ago this summer. We wonder about the man he would have become, about how the dynamics of our family would be different.
He will forever be 9 years old.
We know we'll see him again.

That day will be forever in my memory. I can even hear and smell the sounds and scents of that day. He was an ornery boy, ever adventurous, a jokster, a fellow who stood out from the crowd.

I will remember that day also! It was the only day that I saw my Grampa cry.. I didn't know how to take it.. I hope I never have to live through something like that!

I was at work at Walkers Manuf. in Seward when I got the phone call. I left immediately. I just felt like I had lost a piece of my heart. He is "FOREVER YOUNG" CRADLED IN THE ARMS OF LOVE. Hi Arlin I will see you soon.

My love Aunt Sherry
